Baby Bear and Goldie McLoughlin

  Goldilocks and the Three Bears
For Infants

Oh, Baby Bear! How could you do such a thing when we left you to mind the house on your own?

Using the similar plot and characters as Silent Child, this drama can be adapted with little change for Infants.
Teacher, having read the Three Bears story  sets up the group as helpers of people who have problems- Superhelpers -Click for more.
Task 1: teacher tells pupils that Baby bear got blamed for doing all the damage. He won’t speak. He won’t eat or go to school.

Task 2: Superhelpers have been asked to try to help him to deal with the problem. Class ask TIR as Baby Bear to tell them what happened. Baby bear says it was Goldie who did the damage but no one believes him because he was always in trouble anyway.  Who do we need to talk with now?

Task 3: Class in role as Superhelpers talk to Goldie. Advise her to tell the truth. Also  would she like it if someone did the same to her?

Task 4: Class in Role as Superhelpers talk to Goldie and Baby Bear together. Here you might make use of a special needs assistant to help out in role as one of the characters.

Task 5: When problem is solved. Congratulate children in being able to solve problems.
